What does BBQ tuna taste like? Thumbs up or thumbs down?

My husband has grilled Ahi and it was great. The only problem we found was that it cooks very quickly and we prefer it somewhat rare, we usually sear it in a pan. However, on BBQ it cooked much faster than we thought it would.
