Why do some people see autism as an illness when it is not and that autism equals difference?

Autism is a neurodevelopmental condition. Our brains are literally wired differently. So Yes, we're all different. LOL 😂

Uneducated see it as illness. It is difference, since it exists on a spectrum. So you can have traits, but not be classed as autistic, this is called Broader Autism Phenotype.

The term autism is used too much for people with very little wrong with them.
