  • In most states, it is illegal to own them without special permission. Surprised no 2nd ammendment challenges have come up.
  • Brass knucks are illegal to own in many states. Probably because they are seldom used for self defense!!! I had a self-defense coach tell me that it can be just as effective if you'll keep a small metal pipe in your hand as it can be as effective as brass knucks. Then you can drop the pipe & kick it out of sight. The knucks are illegal where the pipe isn't.
