Why do some people not understand that the point of magic is to fool the viewer because it is staged up? Why are there people who think magic is real? Are they that foolish?

Yes, they're really that foolish. Those who like to see magicians perform, but do not believe in magic as I don't see it as entertainment.

It's meant to be entertaining, I like it, takes a lot of practice and skill. But that said shadow, people think if they buy a pair of shoes, or a dress, where a certain cologne, learn a language, get a degree, become famous, that that makes them a better person, and better than others, that's not magic, it's delusional. Magic in the real sense, is the ability to manipulate energy, (we are energy) you can manipulate energy with symbols, with language, and sound, touch, taste, making people think they are lacking and need something, then we get hooked and we start believing it, it hooks into the ego, the mind, keeping us in the past or future, filled with anxiety, with only momentary relief, and making us feel either inferior or superior, and we call this society and living!! Mankind will no know peace until they see through the illusion, get disillusioned with everything.
