  • I drink distilled water.I have heard the water could be just filtered and comes from the city water supply. There is little regulations and could come from anywhere and unfiltered.A waste of money.Distilled only is guaranteed safe.
  • most "spring water" comes from city tanks...
  • A lot of it comes from municipal supplies. Having lived in New Orleans for 22 years, I have gotten comfortable with Brita pitchers, a typical overboard response for me. Pure water should have absolutely no taste at all. The New Orleans municipal spinners started bragging about the taste of the local water. That was because of the petrochemicals put into it on its way down the Mississippi, and the fact that it had been flushed down so many toilets. Right, it picked up a flavor. Then word got out about "cancer alley" - that it was not a matter of "if" you would get cancer from the stuff, but a matter of "when." Forget about Ozarka and Kentwood, just use the Brita, always, even for soup.
