American Beauty gets shown on television now and again here in Ireland and also on UK television. I’m not sure about American television though. I have American Beauty on DVD. It’s very good.

Shadow Of The Mind There is a certain scene in the movie where Colonel Frank expresses his disgust with gays and he is in the car with his son who bad mouths gays. I’m sure that is offensive for gay people. As for the rest of the movie, it’s an average American movie for adults. I don’t think American Beauty needs to be censored. I have seen much more offensive movies like Cannibal Holocaust for instance which is a disgusting movie.
