However 13 of those plate appearances were walks, so he actually only has 17 at-bats, so if you think that disbars him from being the correct answer then the next best is Bobby Brown of the late 40s/early 50s Yankees side, who had a .439 batting average in 41 at-bats, spread over four World Series.
