  • This person is deceased they are viewing at the funeral home will they start talking in tongues cause the power of Jesus Christ will come through them for the sake to say yes the loved on made it to Heaven or for something else
  • The miracles that Jesus performed were only available on earth while Jesus was here and shortly after. Humans today cannot perform miracles no matter how hard they 'believe.' Speaking in tongues was for the apostles, not for us.😏

Define "miracles". Jesus said that with faith a man could move mountains. In Biblical days, this would have been seen as a miracle, but today, moving mountains is commonplace with bulldozers, graders, &c. I don't believe the Bible mentions anything about speaking in tongues being reserved for just the apostles.

  • I believe the bible says that speaking in tongues is only useful if there is an interpreter, otherwise to the layperson it's just gobbledegook, and so the conversation exists merely between man and God. 1 Cor:14:27 .If any man speak in an unknown tongue, let it be by two, or at the most by three, and that by course; and let one interpret. 1 Cor 14:2 2 For anyone who speaks in a tongue does not speak to people but to God. Indeed, no one understands them; they utter mysteries by the Spirit.
