I have a 17" MacBook Pro, a white MacBook, a Powerbook G4, an old desktop G3, and I just donated an iMac (bondi blue) to my son's school. I also have a problem saying no to Apples apparently.

No Apple here! I have Samsung Laptop for home. And an Acer Laptop for work. But I am also working with VMWare Windows Virtual machines or per RDP on the corporate network PCs.

I don't, simply because Apple is WAY too expensive. You should price compare a Dell Laptop with a Macbook. Not only do you get more features with less money, but Dell is beating Apple in customer satisfaction, their own area of expertise.

I have owned a Mac SE/30, Power Mac 7100, Blue & White G3, and now a Power Mac G5. Then there is the Dell laptop my Employer has supplied me. My next computer will be a MacBook Pro.

I have a Macbook. I bought one in 2007 as an experiment. I wanted to see if I could do the same things I used my HP (Windows-based) laptop for without any trouble. The experiment was so successful, I sold my HP laptop. I found the OS to be very intuitive and the system has design features that really appealed to me. With the new generation of Macbooks that just came out (in the aluminum cases), I sold my old white Macbook and bought a new one. This new one has even better design options than my original and better performance to boot. I still have my Windows desktop.
