Hi, I'm a 26yo Cook living in Greece, I work mostly Seasonal in Hotels with Buffets mainly Breakfast preperation and Cooking in front of Customers The thing is, here as a Cook at a Hotel you earn around 700-850 Euros (stay included free for the 6-7 months you're working there) there is no hourly payment, they don't care how much hours you put in, they're going to pay you that certain amount. and since I can't get enough Money here, a friend of mine said I should go to the UK, but now because of the Brexit it's basically impossible to get a work visa + a sponsor from there because of the pandemic I'm not even sure if I should work as a Cook anymore, I worked only for 3 Seasons and some people are going to say maybe "yeah, you're still a commis, just keep working till you're fine with it" I'm not passionate enough for Cooking to go as far as working 15 hours and not getting the money worth for it, some people told me to become a server or a receptionist since I can speak 4 Languages, but I insisted studying Culinary.. I'm not sure what I should do.. If I'm going to continue as a Cook, which Countries would you recommend me to go? UK is out of option because gov.uk mentioned that I need at least a 5-6 years or experience and a sponsor to work also a proof that I can speak English or would appreciate other Job suggestions which need only a Lyceum Diploma (High School)
