It doesn't bother me in the sense that I'm worried about my health, as we are all gonna die of something, but while I'm alive, I'd like to not have all my things smell like crap and have a yellow-brown film on them, so my next roomate will be a non-smoker;)

Not really but most people that visit do not light up in the house , I would not make them feel uncomfortable if they did smoke.

I have asthma so they extend the courtesy by going outside.

No, the smoke gets into fabrics and it stinks! I tell them to go out on the deck if they wish to smoke.
