Since I am a politician no, I do not always keep my promises.
-
Not always, but I try my best.
-
Yep, because I dont make any. Does that count?
-
Yes, its a matter of dignity. How can people respect you if you can't keep your word!!!
-
Only if they make me swear on my death.. only kidding..I have let a few slip...especially the ones where I am suppose to keep my mouth shut when it comes to the way they raise my granddaughter. I keep biting my tongue I will have nothing left to stick out as they walk away...lol.
-
No. I promised my ex till death do us part. when it was down to having to get away from each other I think we both preferred divorce to untimely death.
-
I don't make promises, but my word is good. If I say I am going to do something I will do it. If I do not think I can do it I will say so and why.
-
Yes always, I never make a promise unless I am sure that I can keep it.
-
I always try my best as I would never like to think I had let someone down.
-
yes i try my best to keep my promises, unless i have to break it then i tell the person well in advance.
-
A promise is very important to me to keep. If I give my word about anything, whether a formal vow, as in marriage, or a promise to a friend, I will do my utmost to keep it, no matter how much I have to do or as much effort it takes. I don't give my word lightly but when I do, it's a surety.
-
yep.i do always.or else i never give a promise. cause if somebody breaks mine it really hurts.
-
Yes; if conditions make it possible for me to do so.
-
Mostly.
-
Yes I deliver what I promise. Naysayers may say I am not a promise keeper but I withhold my marriage vow to the nth degree. Just because I like to have fun on Answerbag doesn't mean I am a cheater. Word play is a form of entertainment. My husband and I trust each other. He is aware of my antics and feels as long as I am faithful in my heart he has no problem with my innocent flirting. And you can take that to the bank.
-
Always...but then again I never promise anything.
-
I never promise something unless I am sure of delivering it. I will do and give my all to fulfill the promise and be true to my word.
-
Before to promise, I think, If I could keep my promise, that`s why if I promise, I always keep my promises.
-
I always keep a promise and if there is someone who stops me from keeping the promise i feel horrible and make it up to the person in everyway possible or i try to get around and still keep the promise, My dad broke every promise he ever made to me so i try xtra hard to keep all of mine
-
I don't make promises so I can never break them.
-
sometimes its depends...but i'm telling the truth
-
Always
-
I try to. If something prevents me from doing so, I explain to the person what happened. I say 90% of the time I'm good on my word. Things happen, so noone can ever be at 100%
-
Yes - and most of them have me kicking myself in the arse
-
Yes. For me, saying the words "I promise" are not words that I use casually. When I say that I mean it, and I follow through.
-
Always (now, there was a time years ago though....)
-
I really, really try to.
-
I tend to yes. Unless it is life and death. One of my friends is feeling a bit low and made me promise to keep his desision to kill himself to myself. He was distraught, so I promised, but I did tell the only contact I knew near him. I rather loose him as a friend that him loose his life. Other than that I avoid making a promise unless I know I can keep it.
-
I try to, but it's hard to keep all of them.
-
Yes. I am very careful about what I promise and the exact words I use ... I seldom actually make a promise that does not include the phrase, "I will do my best to ..." I almost never make an absolute promise.

-
not always i try to keep it... but sometimes i just can't do it..
-
I try my hardest to keep my promises and I think I do a pretty good job. It means a lot to me, promises do. And I get really upset when people break them because a promise means everything but when it's broken sorry means nothing. I dont remember a promise that I have actually broken.
-
nope
-
Yes, Keeping Promises mark you as man of honor and gain you respect. Breaking it will mark you as inhonest and cannot be trusted. Belive it, once you break promises, they don't honor you already.
-
When all humanly possible, YES! A man is defined, and bound, by his by his freely given word. Without it, he's nothing. (Man: defined as 'mankind'. This includes women as well!)

-
Yes I do. Its often that the other person does not.
-
I was taught as a young boy to be q man of my word. A man's word is his bond. First I am very careful about casually making promises. But if I cannot fulfill a promise I go to that person and expalin why I cannot and make arranggements as to when I will. Especially to my kids. I want them to grow up to be honorable people.
-

I always try to keep my promises, but sometimes I forget and make conflicting promises to different people.
-
I really try to and one thing I've learned is to never make a promise you know you can't keep.
-
Really don't make promises, but I keep my word.
-
I make sure of it. Maybe not to EVERYONE, but to a certain girl, I ALWAYS ALWAYS do. That builds trust.
-
For me I always try to keep them, as I really have a hard time dealing with it if I do not. It really bugs me and not just for a little while for whenever it crosses my mind. If I fail to keep a promise, I do go to that person and talk about it and express remorse and ask forgiveness.
-
65% of the time

-
I would be lying if I said I always keep my promises.
-

-
Yes, almost always.
-
YES..
-
I do not know for sure because I do not make promises so easily. If I made them I would endeavor my utmost to keep them. I always desire to be a person of my words.
-
