  • Ye, I eat meat because I am a meat lover . . . . Oh but now I want to go to Pizza Hut and have me pizza; the meat lovers pizza. 😇
  • Humans are omnivores by design. That being said, I have been on a meat-only diet for about a month or so now. And I feel just fine and lost alot of weight. But I do miss eating a salad every now and then. And bread. And spaghetti. And Pop-Tarts. I never thought I'd say it, but it does get boring eating bacon all the time.

Congrats on the weight loss! Has it affected your cholesterol, blood pressure or A1C? What about your vitamins?

All of those were fine before. No supplements as I believe all that crap is just marketing gimmicks.

Ofcourse, meat is good and healthy :)
  • Personally, I do not eat meat. I've been vegetarian for most of my life. I ate it when I was a kid, but I honestly never enjoyed it - I only did it because I had to. I have not seen "What the Health." I actually feel a little queasy when I see meat or when a scrap of it wanders into my food. I know this sounds crazy, but I think it likely has something to do with the fact that my mother was on a vegetarian diet when I was born.
  • Yes, much less than ever. I don't know how to be a healthy vegetarian. When I tried, my hair fell out.

  • Yes, I eat some meat at every meal, since humans are omnivores who need to eat both plants and animals. I have heard that "What The Health' is PeTA deceptions, so I certainly do not believe it or heed it. I boycott Netflix for airing such rubbish.
  • Yes. As I like it. Netflix is entertainment - don't take anything you see on there too seriously.
  • Yes, I eat meat but only white meat. But I totally can understand vegetarians and meat-eaters as well. There are many controversial thoughts about eating meat but I think everyone should decide for oneself what to do with their own body. Here is a good article on Vegetarian VS Meat-Eating: https://ivypanda.com/essays/vegetarian-vs-meat-eating/
  • I eat meat on occasion---2 or 3 times a month. I've been following a vegetarian diet for the past 5 years or so. I don't miss the taste of meat because I ate meat just about every day during the first 65 years of my life.
  • I eat way too much meat. That is because I was born Catholic and my mother made fish.....badly. lol

Do you still live at home, or are you able to make your own choices now? I remember when I was in the homeless shelters I didn't really have much choice. You don't fully appreciate the ability to choose for yourself until you loose it.

I live on my own and have for the last 47 years, thank god. lol
  • I do eat meat. Just about any kind of meat. I grew up eating meat and I just love it!
  • Rarely but, I don't like it. It's expensive to me and I don't enjoy the way it tastes. If I go a long time without eating it I start to get kinda sick and eat a little bit of it.
  • Yes. I don't eat a lot of red meat, but I think eating pretty much everything in moderation, including lean protein in the form of meat and poultry, contributes to a healthy, balanced diet.
  • Yes but much less than I used to eat it.
  • Yes I eat meat
