My experience, especially in some parts of the country, were men who would make ridiculous religious references that anything they didn't like was somehow the work of the devil. Men who attended church and made a big deal about how righteous they were while frequently getting roaring drunk with their friends, harassing and possibly groping young women, and/or having regular relations with prostitutes.
