All dollar bills in the USA have little blue and red fiber stings randomly inserted in the paper. Very few counterfiters think to include the colored fibers. If you know how to spot them it's the best way to tell if a bill is real or not.

8-8-2017 Whole books have been written about the weirdness of money. People think it is worth something, but the only reason it has any value at all is that the government that issued it will accept it in payment of taxes. This craziness goes on and on. Remember USSR?
