Tarantulas. My friend has a nest of them and no girlfriend. He doesn't see the correlation despite me pointing it out several times.

Anoname They say the poison of a Tarantula's bite is greatly exagerated. They are even quite friendly when given the chance.... but I wouldn't expect girlfriend's to be as willing to give them that chance. -
mushroom They're no more "friendly" than any other bug. If you get them nervous, they fling little hairs at you. Tarantulas and spiders eat mostly other bugs, so I consider them beneficial.
