whats the best way to get rid of bed bugs?
I think ive had them for a while but didnt realize it, i mightve seen one occasionally but thought it was a bug, ive been waking up with scratches on my legs and wondered why, saw them this morning so i took all my sheets off my bed and my blanket , put them in garbage bags and trashed them, and yes i saw bugs on them, i went to the dollar store and bought some bug spray for it, I heard they dont work that good and ive had some pest repellers in my apt so i moved on into my bedroom near my bed, i heard they sell pest repellers for bedbugs so i didnt see the point in wasting money if i already had one unless i see its not working, id rather try to get rid of them first before telling the manager in my building, im afraid to set off the smoke detector if i start spraying so i wanted to try the pest repeller first, any idea if that would work? any suggestions? theyre so gross

We had them at a homeless shelter where I lived. They ate on me for six months! I actually had to catch one before they would believe me. They hired an exterminator. But we were told all you have to do is wash your bedclothes and dry them on the hottest setting and that will get rid of them from clothing. The bed is where they hide. The home hired an exterminator. I've successfully run them off using cayenne pepper, but this won't kill them, just cause them to go somewhere else. How is your bug situation now?
