I have been to Bermuda also. It is a beautiful place to visit. We stayed at a friends home in Warwick,which is across the harbour from Hamilton. However,I found the shopping is not that good, most of the stores are speciality shops which cater to the tourists. Those that are not are the cheaper souviener shops. There are a lot of good resturants,all over the Island, but we found "The White Spot" in Hamilton to be very good, and reasonably priced. While you are there, you must take in "The Beating Of The Retreat". It is a night time parade through the main street of Hamilton. The bands are all dressed in their native dress, it is really something to see! Junk food is expensive too,you might want to take some of your own. Well, I hope you get the job,and have a great experience while you're there. P.S. Don't forget to visit The Crystal Caves, they are awsome!

You cannot rent a car in Bermuda, it is cold in the winter, and is very British. :)

Visited once & it is beautiful. You need to learn to use the scooter if you really want to get around! Kinda expensive. I envy you. Good luck.

I have visited Bermuda a few times and it is lovely. One of the most beautiful places I have ever been. I thought the people were charming and very friendly. It's not year round paradise in terms of weather. Despite it's tropical reputation, it can get very cold.

Have you checked out the cost of living? If you intend to buy a house are you aware that you are restricted to what & where you can buy as a "non-citizen"? Are you aware you can not buy a car until you become a citizen? The weather is a consideration but not a big concern to me as I don’t consider even their record low of 51 to be bad . . . but then again I live in Maine.
