What does the verb "to often" mean? As in the phrase "trying not to often". I've never heard of "often" as a verb, have you?
That is, I hadn't heard of it until I saw that phrase on an answer to another question tonight.

How "often" have you seen it ? Not "too" often, I hope. (lol) P.S. Thanks for mentioning where you got it from, and saving me the bother of trying figure out whether you meant often or offend. ; )

Murgatroyd I wouldn't have thought of "offend" as a possible substitute for "often". Those two words aren't that much alike. -
