  • I heard it is wise to wait 3 weeks after piercing your naval to change the jewelry or until it fully heals which means redness and swollen goes down completely.
  • I got my navel pierced profesionally and they said even though the skin may look healed, the inside of it may not be healed, you have to wait about 3-4 months before changing it.
  • Ive had it for about 2 months now and i recently changed the jewlery to a sergical sterling silver and its fine it didnt hurt at all to change it but its better if u take necessary precautions wen changing it as in use clean paper towels and clean the peircing 'very good and most importantly wash ur hands with soap and water other than that u shouldnt have ne complications or soreness or even redness but dont take my word on it because thats what happened to me but it could vary from person to person
  • my piercer told me you have to wait 6 weeks to take your piercing out. so i would wait 6 weeks.
  • 8-10 weeks. i would wait longer though...
  • u should never change jewlery in a peircing until it is healed..
  • I would wait three months to change it got mine done 6 weeks ago and am dying to change it but gotta wait till its headed ;)
  • The longer the better i cannot stress that enough. You may think it healed and all safe to take out but you could be wrong and if you damage the inside of your peircing your gonna be in pain for quiet a while and it will take time till it heals again. So my suggestion is wait atleast 6 months, it might sound alot but its better to be safe then sorry.
