  • Yes, if it would really happen, Americans would pull together and reject the invasion.
  • Yeah. Country folk like myself and my family would band together, you'd find militias forming all over. And everyone knows that the people of this country have more guns per capita than most countries. I doubt invaders would make it pat the first row of states in whichever direction they decided to invade.
  • This is happening every day. Illegal aliens and a government that is out to screw you. Every minute you are being invaded. It is time to put up or shut up.
  • really i didn't say the American military, i said and meant the American people. I am Italian and have high respect and consideration of American people, but US authorities are at a low right now, e.g. 9/11 and New Orleans
  • If it is an out right attack yes most Americans would stand and defend their country just like any other citizen of any nation would defend theres well besides one (edited name out) they run. ;)
  • Mexico already has invaded. We just sat back and ate burritos.
  • If it was a military invasion, the American people would form militias and fight. The political invasions and economic takeovers are less easy to see, and people don't care about it, as long as they think their children are safe.
  • The right to bear arms entrenched in the 2nd amendment to the Constitution is there to ensure that Americans could quickly form militias in just these circumstances. Hopefully, should the need arise they would sign up in droves.
  • Some are, but not nearly enough. It is happening and few seem to care. The current administration sees the invaders only as new voters for their party.
  • Can't speak for anyone but myself. I would resist.
  • They would turn to their president for leadership and failing that, they would turn and run and ignore the situation! They're far too complacent to take any real action!
  • I dunno, but we'd sure do a lot of complaining.
  • Probably not! The NY Times, Washington Post, LA Times, Time, Newsweek, CNN, NBC, ABC, CBS would tell us we shouldn't! :-(
  • Many would but many would not. I have my weapons and the knowledge to use them effectively.
  • Practically speaking no country would dare to invade USA, not atleast till next 100 years, and if it happens then there lots of people who would love to be part of the violence.
  • Although I can't come up with a scenario where ANY nation in the world could ever hope to get past the U.S. military there is no doubt in my mind that foreign troops on American soil would pay very dearly for every inch of ground they gain. If by some miraculous miracle they make it to "Fire Base Trouble" they are done. I'll take no prisoners and take great pleasure In killing 'em all and letting God sort 'em out.
  • The American people are pretty unhappy right now and can't find a way to attack their problems. - Give us a nice armed invasion to focus on and we will not only chew them up here, we'll follow them home and clean house there!
  • I am really cautious in answering this question. I feel that anything we say, can be read by sources not friendly to America and may use it against us. Back when the United States and Russia were at odds, someone said that the Russians could land on American soil and take over, without firing a shot. that statement really concernmed me back then, just as the assault on the twin towers did on 9-11. It also concerns me that America does not have a draft. enough men and women militarily trained to protect our soil. too many of our troops away from America, protecting other countries and not our own. Our National Guard needs to be in America protecting Americans.
  • It already has been invaded. By racist hatemongers who seek to overthrow at the very most, if not undercut at the very least our Representative Republic. Who are these Quislings? Republicans.
  • if a country actually invaded america, about 10 million minute men, would be armed in ready in 1 day
  • I keep hoping that Canada will invade, so long as they import LOTS of beer with them.
  • Shortly before the Japanese attacked Pearl Harbor in 1941, IJN Admiral Isoroku Yamamoto was asked his opinion on the prospect of invading the US. His reply: "You cannot invade the mainland United States! There would be a gun behind every blade of grass." I think that sums it up pretty well. There are exactly two things that very nearly every American will fight for: our rights and our freedom. An invasion hinders both rights and freedom, so the American people as a whole would fight like mad dogs against any invading army. If you've ever seen the movie Red Dawn, imagine a whole nation of Patrick Swayzes and you'll have some sort of idea what an invading army would be up against. I wish 'em luck.
