If the person is someone i know and if they are in need of help i cant answer too well with comments i would give out my msn or even my myspace so Yes.

... communication via plain text is not the same as a verbal conversation, and neither can also convey visual expressions and gestures ... cameras combined with voice, just gets more info accross faster.
-
I would give my Aol, Aim, Yahoo or MSN if the person needed help that I thought I could give. I think those accounts are more secure than Facebook.
-
Depends on who it was. I probably would, I like most of the people on AB, in fact, I have only encountered a couple who I wouldn't care to know at all. For the most part, the people here are wonderful and very helpful.
-
Sure why not
-
Yes, I give out my AIM freely, as it has no more identifying information than my AB account does. I don't use MSN or Yahoo! and I would not give out my Skype, because it's my real name and actual location and I do not wish to be stalked!
-
why, yes. i've gone as far as to give out my friggen phone number.
-
If they were to request such a thing.
-
I think not.
-
yep, or I'd give them the link to my myspace page, so they could get a good idea of who I am, and what I'm like.
-
I don't use IM much, but I'd give an email address.
-
Sure why not but i am very selective but i am very wary so i would have to be as sure as i can about the person before i gave out my email address or msn.
