Help answer this question below.

Please help me... I never take prescription meds but yesterday I took half of a 5mg hydrocodone (for a headache @ work) and I had a drug test this morning.... will I pass, I drank 3 beers lastnight?

    Probably not, hydrocodone is an opiate, but if you are prescribed the hydrocodone just show them the prescription, it cant be used against you.

    guess they are gonna ask you when the results come.if possible try to explain it to them.a prescription may be of an added help.

    When drug testing, often opiates are tested for. I know; I used to drug test. The hydrocodone may show up on the test. If it's your prescription, simply bring the bottle with you. If it's not, good luck.

    Best bet is to tell them it was an old script tha you had and the headache had become unbearable hydrocodone is metabolized into hydromorphone which is what they will test for just explain and you should be ok but it will defiantly show up for sure.
