  • It's natural to worry about it or get a little paranoid. However, it sounds fine. He might've gone somewhere where has to turn off his phone or his phone might be dead or he might not have service. You just never know with cell phones these days. So I wouldn't worry about it.
  • I think it might be a bad thing that you're suspicious of him (it suggests a lack of trust in him), but perhaps you're justified. It sounds to me like he's just at the pub with some friends or something though, hehe If he's cut himself off from communication, there isn't much you can do I guess... He could just want to be left alone to hang out with his friends for a while, and if that's the case you should respect his preference for privacy at the moment. I think this is really one of those things where all you can do is wait and see, but from what you've said I don't see a reason to be suspicious (unless he's done something bad before in similar circumstances)
  • I know I'd be upset , though it's only been a hour or so , and his phone might just be in a place where it doesn't work
  • Well, the main question is, has he ever given you reason not to trust him? Sometimes, when I'm having a good time with the boys, I'll lose track of time and maybe be a bit later than I said I would be. However, I usually leave a cell # or the # of where I'm going to be. (It's a bit different for me, as I've got kids and if somethings wrong, I need to be on call 24 hours).
