Well, this is very difficult to answer because I like sugar on strawberries and salt on chips.

Salt. Salt makes everything taste better. Oh, salt, how I love thee so! ...just kidding. I never really put sugar on anything, so salt is my default answer here. I only like it on savory foods, though. I hate it on cantaloupe and whatever other sweet things people put it on.

I don't eat sugar at all, in my food OR on it - so I'm going to have to say salt.

Neither thank you, most sweet foods are too sweet already for my tastes, and most salty foods practically gag me. But if it's on the table, I'll gladly take a liberal sprinkling of black pepper on just about anything.

Depends completely on the food being eaten. I would say I salt food more often though. A little sugar on tomato slices is good though.

I use nether in my diet.I rarely eat processed foods for they all contain both.I have to cook from scratch to be sure of zero salt and zero sugar.

Depends on what I'm eating and some things require both for balance. I can't eat pea soup without salt. It's flat. Can't have blackberries without a little dusting of sugar. Green peas may take a pinch of both to bring out all the flavors.

It really depends on what I am eating. Corn always needs a little salt on it, and strawberries are good when sprinkled with sugar. So, it depends on what you are eating.
