Yes, I despise chains.
-
Yes and not only that, they send it to you and everyone else on their mailing list and include all the addresses in them so you get them from everyone they sent them to as well..never ending chain. :)
-
Once I read two lines of those, I do send them immediately... to the Trash bin.
-
Yes... "DELETE" :)
-
Any forwarded e-mails annoy me. I mean, I think that it has gotten to the point that every possible *cute* *inspirational* or *must read* forward has been done. I am starting to receive forwards that people think are new, but are actually from years ago. I just tell people to never forward me anything, I use stumbleupon.
-
At least it is better than "If you DONT forward to X ppl, something HORRRIBLEEEE will happen" Enough of those chain mails =.= Those people should just chain themselves up =.=;; And, away from computer. But, one good thing, I don't keep those people on my list long enough if they constantly send them. (That is spam you, not being a friend =.=)
-
Naw...some people really believe in that stuff. I simply hit the "delete" button and move on.
-
Yep they're hard to take that's for sure - i keep getting one where someone's child is going to die in 6 weeks if i don't send it on and the email originated 2 years ago!? Go figure huh.
-
I usually send it back to the person who sent it with the following message. I broke the chain...avenge my death.
-
Don't those automatically just get dumped in your bulk file?
-
Agh, God, yes! I start to get bitter about it. I swear, if something bad ever happens to one of them, I'm going to say "Hah! I guess your '20 years of good luck' turned out to be a bust!" Oh, they're so annoying. That's why I can't have susperstitious friends. =P
-
Not just you. Those get deleted straight away out of my inbox.
-
I get those a lot and I delete them.
-
I do, b ut I hate it more when you get the phone txt ones...don't these people know that the service providers start these all off to make millions in txt charges...I just delete them
-
I hate them for one reason, they scare my daughter to death!!! Don't people realize that there ARE some people who worry that "if you don't send this to 7 people in the next 10 minutes, you may get hit by a car, like the guy in Phoenix, who deleted the message, or you may get your car stolen, because, like the woman in Carlsbad, you just ignored the e-mail"! No matter what you say to some, they always have that little doubt that something bad MAY happen! So, I try to delete the ones my daughter gets, before she sees them! And, yes, it IS with her permission.
-
Delete is my best friend, and if the same person keeps sending the things, I block them.
-
I don't bother forwarding them on - just give them a quick read and usually delete them.
