Not any more. Now I'm married with a son & a hubby & have learned someone in the house has to get rid of the darn things so its usually me. My teenage son will avoid using his shower & use mine if he finds a spider in the corner also my husband will avoid them as well & tell me about it when I see him run from the room. However when I was young I would go to sleep at night & be awaken by one crawling on my forehead & waking me up. It was from that I learned to keep my bed clean underneath.

Yes. and snakes and rats!
-
YES!!!! terrified
-
no. but unfortunately i'm terrified of lizards. even mentioning its name makes me shudder!!! God help me.
-
Oh yeah i'm scared of all creepy insects,
-
No! I love them (well, most of them). They eat all the flies, mossies and other insect pests. Some are very pretty, especially garden spiders! http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/European_garden_spider The most unpleasant thing is cobwebs. They get into the most unlikely places!
-
Not as frightened as I am of sharks
-
I'll explain it like this, dead people are not scary paranormal activity, people walkin around with sharp objects or stalkers r not scary, nighttime is not scary alcoholics, finals, clowns and ghosts/spirits and haunted houses r definetly not scary but spiders will haunt me!
-
very... just like roaches...

eeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeekkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkk!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I nearly jumped off a cliff because of one! Thats how scared I am of them urgh!
-
I'm not afraid of 'em but if they look at me a little funny then I'll go out of my way to avoid them. Most of them are fairly decent but some of them are real pricks for no reason. Either way I don't want their hairy legs crawlin' all over me.
-
no i am not. i like to keep a few around (if they aren't lethal) to eat the other bugs. natural bug control!
-
no there great cause they get rid of flys wasps and ants which suits me
-

No, i am not afraid of spiders but was taught not to touch them. Spiders and all the other lovely small creatures fear about our human beings more than we fear about them...so next time when you spot a little spider at the corner of your cupboard or closet, don't panic...give it a little time and it will run away :) They're our friends and like all of us, entitled to inhabit in this planet.
-
I am not afraid of spiders. I "catch" them on a piece of paper and put them outside if possible. Other than that, it's a squish with a paper towel. My brother-in-law torches them with a match and aerosol hairspray. :)
-
no I don;t fear them I usually allow them to crawl on my hand and I carry them outside.
-
Stomp that spider.
-
I like them even with chocolate.;-)
-
Nope. I leave it alone and they leave me alone. i guess you should try to over come your fear as hard as that sounds.
-
I just wait for the spider to crawl within reach of the cats. Problem solved.
-
Completely and totally horrified!!! I make hubby do it, and if I'm alone and HAVE to....I cry!
-
If you decide to mess with one, make sure to kill it. You can't just maim them. They will run away and come back with friends and vengeance on their little evil minds.
-
I scream bloody murder then I stomp it into the floor.
-
I'm not afraid of them, I use to catch them in their webs with my hand when I was a child. I read that you are never more then 6 feet from a spider because there are so many. You could use hair spray if you have to deal with them and your alone and frightened.
-
I don't really fear them but they creep me out and for some reason sometimes cause high-pitched sounds to be emitted from my mouth. I can't really explain it. I have this deep-rooted suspicion that they are just waiting for me to go to sleep so they can come out and crawl across my body and suck my blood.
-
Either get a shoe or you can carry a can of hairspray and spray them sticky.
-
Dyson is the top choice for me. After that the Next Directory (nice and heavy), dropped directly on top of them works a treat. Thirdly any bottle of kitchen cleaner (Mr Muscle Bathroom is good or anything that contains bleach) is a winner. I have been known to place the odd can of paint on some offending insect from time to time. Hairspray also works a treat.

First: I tell the spider to remain CALM...there's no need to get excited! Second: I ask if there are any demands. And how I can be of service. Third: If the situation escalates, the spider doesn't comply and leave the tub area when asked to, force will have to be used, by way of baton.

I am not afraid and I try to get them outside.
-
as i tiptoe up close to it(not too close it may jump and attack)i then take a shoe or broom or anything that i dont really have to touch it and WHAM..i also hear this faint scream then i relize that would be me screaming like a little girl..i then look around make sure noone saw or heard anything..dispose of the evidence and walk away...very calmly...then i shake cause spiders just give me the heebie-jeebies!
-
I am afraid of spiders, I was bit by a brown recluse when I was 15, and spent 5 days in the hospital. Now, whoever is around, get the task of killing them, or if, I am by myself, I get a broom, and smash the hell out of it.
-
I am not afraid of spiders, but in the house, they can be quite a nuisance. I tend to scoop them up and throw them outside. I wouldn't kill them.
-
I don't like them. Kill it if you must. I once spent a summer in a black spider infested house. I had to build up my bed in a special way. I hope I never swallowed any of them. I bet they crawled over me in my sleep. Now I look back at that in shock!
-
This will sound laaaaaaame but I let them outside so people don't kill it.
-
Nope
-
Nope
-
No, though I don't like them crawling on me. But I"m not afraid of them
-
I'm not afraid of them but once i was putting on a headband and i noticed something on it but i thought it was lint so i went to brush it off and it was a freaking huge spider..that was pretty frightening.. but alls well that ends well.
-
No..but I know someone who is petrified of them
-
yes i'm terrified of spiders when i was 14 i was bitten by one on the neck. i just figured it was an adolescent acne spot and ignored it. then i woke up the next day and the spot was a boil the size of a silver dollar and my neck wouldn't move. the venom had traveled up past my ear and down to my shoulder and it was scary. luckily, medications and things helped and i was right as rain in a few weeks. but since then i've never been able to be near spiders.
-
I am afraid of spiders I cant even pick one up when wearing gloves. I was fishing on the river one time and late that night I noticed a huge blister on my leg I thought it was boil but about a week later my knee was completly black I was bitten by a brown recluse, and a few days later I was bitten in the same place by another. If a female spider bites you she leaves a pheremone and when the males come to that location they get angry when they do not find the female and they bite you also.
-
No I'm not. But I've had to teach myself not to be scared. I did this when I had kids because I didn't want to pass my dislike onto them. I find talking to them helps. I say things like "What a naughty little spider you are coming into the house, time to go outside." Then if I can reach them I cup them in my hands and carry them outside.
-
I have found them in my apartment before. But I am not scared of them.
