No offense, but you don't know much about warrants. I am assuming you mean warranties ( promises to make good on a product), as opposed to warrants = arrest documents. A Warranty is an offer to make good on a promise based on specific details (as: against manufacturing defects) for a specified length of time ( 90 days, two years, as noted in the warranty).

An active bench warrant means the court retains jurisdiction over the matter. An expiration date helps ensure that a person doesn't settle a matter out of court and without dismissing the action.
