  • I don't know, but I do know what age they shouldn't be wearing make-up: 2.
  • There's no time when people -should- start wearing make up, it's just something you do whenever you feel like you want to : P I don't really understand why people feel pressured into wearing it... I'm sure they're beautiful without it anyway, lol
  • 13 seems about the right age, thats when I starting wearing makeup
  • I don't believe in wearing make up, but when a girl wants to start, I would help her decide what is best for her, and why she wants to wear it. I had no girls to raise, and I was raised in a family that did not allow make up.
  • It depends on the make up. Lip gloss can start almost any age. Then young girls for school pictures, funerals, weddings, etc... can start wearing more make up. I'd say 16 would be okay for a female to start wearing it often if they are taught HOW to wear it. I suppose a little younger if they are responsible, but I see too many 13-14 year olds who think that they look cool but have so much make up on that there are about 2 inches of crap to wash off before you can see real skin.
  • an age when she starts feeling her natural beauty is not enough.but i think everybody likes a girl who is beautiful naturally-inside or out, anyways.
  • It really depends on your personal beliefs. I did not let my daughter start wearing makeup until she turned 14 and I took her for a makeover to show her the proper way to apply the makeup. But then again I did not let her go on dates without a chaparone until she was in the 11th grade.
  • When they're old enough to buy it themselves.
  • My daughter wears it,i cant say im overly happy about it and i do moniter how much she puts on,surpose its part of growing up,shes 13 and a half!!
  • Probably about 13
  • I would say 13, no younger because makeup can make a girl look over 16 and guys will try it with them and thats just too young an age to do those sorta things. aint nice on the guy when he realises shes 12 or whatever either.
  • 15 years old
  • I'm 16 now and i didn't start wearing make up until i was about 13. even then it was just mascara. I still don't wear heavy foundation or anything though. yeah, i think it should be around 13/14
  • 18 years old
  • Never. Go natural. I do not know a lot of guys who really like make up. This is one of those things that women do for themselves and pretend that it is for the guys.
  • I think at age 14 with the basics and with very light color.
  • I would say about 13
  • When they can put it on without over doing it!
  • I was 11 when I started wearing light lip gloss, 12 when I started wearing mascara, and 13 when I started wearing eyeliner.
  • It's not a question of "should" or not, but rather if you want to (shouldn't feel obliged or pressured to). However, I don't think young kids should wear makeup - about 14 at the youngest is when, for me, it's ok for people to start experimenting with makeup BUT ONLY IF THEY WANT TO!!
  • Should a girl wear a bra
  • I say not until their teens. And gradually. In my teens I really only wore lip gloss and a little eye shadow occasionally in high school (along with foundation but that was more to cover any flaws). Now at 23 I wear lipstick, eye liner, mascara, etc. I remember my mother telling me how when she was 18 she tried sneaking out of the house with a pair of clip on earrings and her father caught her and she got grounded. How times have changed lol.
  • Should? Never. Don't bother with the stuff. The way God made you is good enough, why hide it under chemicals?
  • Probably at whatever age she is when nobody will look at her and say, "Aren't you a little young to be wearing makeup?"
  • Never. You should not have ever feel that you need to look different. As far as I know God is the only one that can create people and choose the look for you. Instead of being thankful to God. We are acting like God did not do a good enough Job.
  • depends on how ugly they are
  • personally i preffer girls that dont put on a lot of makeup but i dont mind if she puts on some eyeliner but lipstick and blush has got to go man i see no need for it on u =]
  • Wearing makeup is one of Female lowest self esteem. consciously they know they are pretty and Subconsciously they worry what if the guys don't think I am pretty. Guest what always win. your negative thinking. why? just because you spent more time thinking about them. why covering the beauty God gave you. Beside a person should like you for who you are. not just because you look good with makeup on.
  • My little girl is 9.I only allow her to wear lip gloss now.I say 16 to my doughter. I think that is a good age for other makeup.
  • Whenever they want to, I guess. I'll just ask my daughter (if I have one) what the point of covering up your face in expensive chemicals is.
  • if you have good skin you shouldn't ruin it with harsh chemicals. Try mineral powder makeup and maybe you can save your youthful looks.
  • In my view, that number has two digits: a 1 followed by a 0.
  • Proabably not before 12, at least. It's 2008 and circa 15 years ago, this question would have been unnecessary, since children under 12 back then thougt of playing and not how they looked. When the girl turns older, it's up to herself. But some jobs (like maid/nanny girl or whatever) may not only require the girl to wear a uniform, but also forbid her to wear makeup.
  • Well I don't really think that there is a right age but I started wearing a little makeup like eyeshadow and lipgloss around 13 and then around 14 I started wearing a little more.
  • When they are old enough to apply it correctly. When I was about 11-12, I would go to the 5 & 10c store (no walmarts back then) and bought all the cheap make up I could find. I brought it home and my mom forbid me to wear it. So of course I snuck it in my book bag and took it to school and applied it in the bathroom. I had no clue what I was doing. I looked like a clown. Then I would have to stop at the local gas station on the way home and wash it all off in their restroom. All this cheap makeup and scrubbing with harsh soap is what I believed lead to acne in my teenage years. When I was about 15 my mom took me to a good department store and got me some good quality eye shadow, powder and lip stick. I wish I would have listened to her and waited.
  • I started wearing a tinsy winsy bit of make-up when I was about 13. Just some brown eyeliner, ocasionally lip gloss. Start when you want a change.
  • whenever you want. i'd say around 12 maybe a bit before but probably not properly untill your in your mid teens
  • make-up is ONLY for ugly people
