Help answer this question below.

I had sex 2 days after my period.. I have heard that typically, women ovulate the 14th - 16th day... I have also heard they ovulate the 7th - 10th... and heard the 10th - 13th. I know it's different for everyone, but what is average for a 28 day cycle?

For a 28 day cycle, the average time for ovulation is day 14.

Sperm can live in the vagina for as long as a week, so having unprotected sex in the seven days before ovulation can result in pregnancy if the sperm find a cozy place to hide and wait for the egg.

Every woman is different, and sometimes your body doesn't do what the textbooks say it's supposed to.

If you're having sex and you don't want to get pregnant, then use protection every time.
