Go into nature , and walk or sit under a tree and take in your surroundings whilst breathing deeply. It will be calming. Swimming in a river can be a good idea too.

You should take a walk (not near the pub). Think about other things that do not have to do with smoking.

I'm a bit like that, and i'm trying not to think of having a bifta or a drink! only thing that does it for me is throwing myself into a tomb raider game, then i forget about it :)

Take a deep breath and be strong. It is one of the hardest things you will ever do. But, YOU can do it! I just kept telling myself, "You don't NEED it you WANT it." It will get easier. I do know. It has been 3 years for me. Hey, sometimes I wish I could just light up. It would feel so good! Mmmmmmm I had to stay away from it for several months. But in the end it will be worth it. It will then be on of the best things you ever do.

Go to the pub , you are not allowed to smoke in there anyway. Remember Big Brother has declared a total ban on public places.

How is not going to the pub going to help? You can't smoke there anyway now. Anyway, I would say why not go and see a film? Take the scenic route and go for a bit of a walk to absorb the nice evening first.

Get some nicotine patches

Get really engrossed in AB to the point you forget about the smokes. I know it's hard, I'm a 40 year smoker whose been off for 10. If I can you can.
