Question

Help answer this question below.

I was dating/living with a single father for 1.5 years and we adored each other. I was the first person he dated after being divorced for 3 years. We recently broke up due to the stresses of rushing into this delicate situation. Is there any hope?

Maybe I might sound cynical, but I'm thinking of your best interests here, and you should be also.

Why would you want this stressful, "delicate" sitation? Is this really good for you, and your self-esteem? Maybe it isn't even good for him and his children (even if they love you to death) - at least for him it sounds like he was scarred by his divorce and that it was too soon.

Of course, I don't know your situation, and I don't mean to offend, only to provide realistic, hopefully helpful advice. Good luck!

Are you still talking? If so, keep things light and
maybe time will correct the problems.
