  • Most likely the action figures that command the highest dollars are Star Wars action figures, and playsets. A few years ago, one of the 12-inch action figures of Star Wars from the late-1970's could easily sell over $1,000 and the most expensive carded Star Wars action figure from the original Return of the Jedi is a Canadian exclusive action figure called "Yak Face," which, in the late 1990's was selling for over $1,000 and the most expensive Star Wars action figure is the vinyl-caped Jawa, which was worth over $3000 on the secondary market as well. All these action figures and their prices are only estimates and are for the ORIGINAL Star Wars movies from 1977-1984 NOT the new ones. In addition, these estimated prices are ONLY for C-10 Carded Action Figures, which means carded action figures whose actual card is pristine, MINT, unused condition as well as the attached figures for the Secondary Market. An excellent reference guide for determining the value of your ORIGINAL Star Wars collection is "Tomart's Price Guide to Worldwide Star Wars Collectibles" (Paperback) by Stephen J. Sansweet, T. N. Tumbusch, Tom Schwartz (Photographer), Kelly McLees (Photographer) and it's priced at $32.95 at Amazon.com. Good luck with your collecting!
