definitely a foe! he killed dumbledore. There's no question in my mind.

Personally I want to think he is a foe, but there is the fight he had with Dumbledore earlier in the book. He told Snape that he had to do something. It's possible that the thing that they were fighting about is whether or not Snape would kill Dumbledore if it came to that. Which is why I am looking forwatd to book seven to find out for certain.

He's a mega-jerk wad that's what he was. I never trusted him from the first movie that I saw him in. He just has that sinister look to him.

He was the best disguised allies in the entire series. There is more to him killing Dumbledore than doing it for grins
