I work at autozone. Ill start at the bottom. Black schools that can be shined. Black socks. Black Polyester pants. Black belt with small buckle. Red(not manager) or gray (manager) three button polo tucked in. if you wear a shirt underneath it has to be white. If you are a Red shirt (not manager) you can wear a DARK gray V neck sweater over your red one. And if you are a Gray shirt (manager) you can wear a red v neck sweater over your Gray shirt. and Black jacket for going outside. Name tag on the right. and theres some pins you can get for doing special things and they all have their own side of the color that they can be worn on. If you wear a hat it has to be black. Must be clean shaved unless you always have a beard or mustache. No holes (even tiny(mind you I work with battery acid)) No big earrings. no weird piercings.

We have business Casual. We are allowed to wear short as long as they are with a belt and not too short. Also the shirt must have a collar. When wearing shorts some wear no socks, shorts socks and knee high socks. Very simple and straight forward

I used to have a dress code. Suit and tie. Easy to follow. Unless a dress code is really badly written, they're always easy to follow. The only question really is are you willing to follow the code? If you are it's easy. Otherwise you'll keep pushing the limits so you can wear your jeans and slit t-shirt in such a way it is arguably a 3-piece suit and tie. Then it gets hard.

Scrubs.. Life is good. No figureing out what to wear the next day.

No. I would never work there. I have talked to some people who worked as live-in maid/nanny girls when they were young girls in their late teens/early 20's and one of the things they disliked the most were the uniforms (like blouses and skirts, aprons and high-healed shoes) the employers required the girls to wear.
