did you put the silocone on when it was damp? because then it wouldnt work. silicone should work if the area was dry before application.
You need to Clean all of the existing silicone off with a fingernail polish remover. Silicone will not stick to silicone. Then wipe the area down with alcohol. Let dry before appling a new bead of sealant. Use the best quality sealant that you can find. Be sure that it will not grow mold!

You're reading I have a curved glass shower enclosure that leaks water onto my floor. The water is coming out where the glass meets the chrome pillers and shower tray. Ive tried silicone, yet its still leaky. Any advice on how to seal it properly please?

thanks for your answer staffie. i had dried the entire cubicle and used another shower unit for around a week prior to application, so yes, im positive the area was dry. im afraid it just keeps on leaking despite my efforts.
