  • I would say probably god but I'm not sure if everyone considers him a person.
  • Personally speaking Jesus Christ.
  • Dalai Lama Mother Teresa
  • Mother Teresa gets my vote.
  • Lady Diana, Mother Teresa, Ghandi?
  • Mahatma Gandhi. In a world of evil, he has shown the power of showing the other cheek and non-violence. The power has shaken the roots of the great British empire.
  • I think that is a "no-brainer", Jesus Christ.
  • I don't think it is Jesus, because there are only so many Theists in the world, and it's not easy to respect someone who claims to be the son of an incorporeal spirit. Gandhi made some Pakistani enemies and there's a whole class of narrow-minded Europeans who try to spread as much dirt as possible about the man in spite and malice. Mother Theresa was Evangelical in practice, and I, amongst others, don't respect her for that. She was also somewhat against condoms being used to fight sexually transmitted infection, which is a good example of Catholic stupidity. A few people have mentioned Princess Di, but she was just a Western figurehead who did a lot of publicity stunts and isn't that widely regarded outside of Europe, America and the Commonwealth. Someone else said god (I don't capitalise). Once again, I should reiterate that not everybody's a Theist. The Dalai Llama may well come close, but a lot of rich politicians hate his guts. So, in the tradition of exasperatedly attempted eccentricity, I conclude that Richard Simmons is the most respected person of all time.
  • The big guy with the gun!
  • Jesus. 2.2 billion people and rising are Christians by confession, but Muslims also respect Jesus as a great prophet, so that adds another 1 billion. Many Hindus also say that Jesus was a great teacher, as do Buddhists.
  • Without a doubth, its Prophet Mohammed(peace be upon him)
