Yes, pretty much. I believe that Mennonite actually refers specifically to the Baptist based religion they all follow and Amish generally refers to the the people as a group. Since all Amish are Mennonite they are pretty much one and the same.

No. They are not. They each have their own believes and rules.

No. I don't know the technical differences, but the Menonites are slightly more liberal. They will use a few more modern conveniences than the Amish.

The Amish broke away from the Mennonites when they felt that the latter were becoming too worldly.
