Yes, It's probably an attack from those mythical creatures from Scandinavia that like to do harm to other people, lest I mention their name & one crawls out from under a rock to do some damage.
-
I do. Sadly I can still only give +2 so sometimes I can't do too much to help. I think it would be nice though for people to post their reasons as to why it wasn't helpful. Just getting negative points doesn't help a person learn how to better respond next time or tell them what the question was really looking for.

Yes, I do that frequently. Some people here on AB even formed an "Anti-Troll Club" (ATC), Considering that among other negative aspects of trolling this was one of the most common and unfair. I never became a member or even know if it's still active but I try to do my part : )

I often do that. When it happens to me I just leave a sarcastic comment for whichever anonymous passer-by has done it.

Yes, its nice to right a wrong.

I give points based on whether I think the answer is helpful or not. If I think the answer is helpful, I'll rate it up, regardless of whether it has previously been rated down or not.
-
I often do. Driveby trolls are annoying. If the q or a is good to me but has been hit by a driveby troll (one who does not say why they downrated), I points up them. I points up them period if I think it is good.
-
Always-I hardly ever downrate questions or answers and I hate people who downrate just cos they disagree with someone. I often give + points to people who troll me too-just for some good karma!
-
Yes I do.
-
If I can, sure.
-
Every time - yes.
