I think it is a good thing for anybody and everybody in the family to have a curfew or a reasonable time for all to be in their beds. No one needs to be out and about and not getting sleep when they have something to get up for the next day. PArents care for and want to protect their children. They don't do it just because they can or because they want to torture young folks. I had a curfew that would change depending on the night and the event. I thought it was reasonable for my parents to expect me to abide by it and not be out all night doing who knows what. I think it helped keep me out of trouble and kept me safe.
