When it happens. There is no set age or best age. It just hits you one day.

I don't think love is based on age. It is based on when you fall in love. It would be silly to say "Oh I'm 20 I guess I'm still a bit to young for love despite how strongly I feel for this guy." Same for any age.

There really is no "best age" to fall in love. Whatever age you are when it happens is the best age for you, if the person you love also loves you in return.

I agree with everyone that has answered. No best age, just a best time. And I'd say the best time is when you love the other person and that person, in turn, loves you.

I don't know what it is for me. I know it's not 16 because I fell Deeply in love then was crushed when the person told me they did not feel the same way anymore. It was like it was a game for them but what I felt was real. I guess it had to happen some time. Have to learn these things right?

After you know who you are and are happy with yourself. Only after you feel you are complete on your own is it safe to fall "deeply" in love with another person. On the other hand, it usually hits you before that. If you're capable to feel compassion for another person, you can love.

Any age when it happens is wonderful. It can be when you are younger or even later in life when you don't think it can happen.
