  • We did a two week camping trip from Seattle to Calgary, ending with three days at the Stampede. It is truly one the spectacles that everyone should see once in their lifetime. Rodeo events, the rides, the beer, and the people of Calgary are top notch, very nice, and a lot of fun. I want to do it again one more time before I die.
  • Sure, my dad roped in it.
  • Many years ago there were three major rodeos in western north America. The Pendleton Roundup (Pendleton, Oregon), the Calgary Stampede (Calgary, Canada) and the Cheyenne Frontier Days (Cheyenne, Wyoming). I've been to all three and thoroughly enjoyed them. That was years ago. But I have fond memories of each of them. I was a kid when I went to Oregon, took my own kids to Calgary and went by myself to Wyoming.
