first time means nothing, chances are the same with that, no birth control means chances are great along with no protection, and right after period means you have a better chance of not being pregnant, I guess, but guarantees nothing. Using protection doesn't guarantee anything either, only not having sex guarantees no pregnancy, that is a fact.

If done right the pull out method will most likely work, but not as sure as a condom or the pills, ext. ------- Withdrawal - the man pulls his penis out of the vagina before he "comes" to keep sperm from joining egg. This can hardly even be called a method of contraception. Effectiveness: 81% - 96%. Not effective against sexually transmitted infections. Reason not recommended for teens: Some men lack the experience and self-control to pull out in time. Some men have been known to say they will pull out, and then they get so excited and carried away that they don't. Some men cannot tell when they are going to ejaculate. Some men ejaculate very quickly, before they realize it. Before ejaculation, almost all men leak fluid that can cause pregnancy. http://www.coolnurse.com/birthcontrol.htm http://www.epigee.org/guide/order.html

what do you call people who use the withdrawal method? parents! ok seriously dont use that again. it sucks. use the pill or a condom or better yet, both.

You can still get PG, before a man ejaculates he releases pre-cum and that also contains sperm. I suggest seeing your physician or going to a planned parenthood to get low cost birth control like the pill and/or using condoms. Try to use 2 methods of birth control, because only abstinence guarantees no pregnancy *good luck.

Not very likely, but possible. Remember, sperm stays in your body for a few days after sex, so you don't usually get pregnant right at the time you have sex. The sperm takes time to travel to the egg, and sperm is in pre-cum as mentioned before. Since you just got off your period, you probably haven't started ovulating yet, so you are more than likely ok.

You could still get pregnant, even if you attempt to "time it" with your period... sperm lives a number of days as it searches for the egg... Further, by having unprotected sex, you have foolishly exposed yourself to STD's. "No Glove, No Love" - If you believe you're mature enough to be having sex, you better be mature enough to insist on proper birth control. If you "give in" tp unsafe sex, QED you're too young to be sexually active... I hope you dodge both bullets, but why put yourself through the stress again. Take the pill AND make him use a condom... else you might find yourself in BOTH types of trouble.

It's not very likely that you are preganat but you can get pregnant that way and you shouldn't rely on your cycle and pulling out as a form of birth control. You are also not protected against STDs. You should be very careful. You only have this life, don't do anything foolish to mess it up.

Can you say high? Pre-ejaculate is released as soon as a guy becomes aroused and it has a very high sperm count. And if you have sex after your period that means the egg could still be present. In fact this when I got pregnant both times. Once using the pull out meathod and once using contraceptive films. I'm going to come out and say it if you're asking this after you had sex then you are not educated, mature, or responsable enough to be having sex at all. Period.

a agree with the top answer about the people who end up as parents. and i hate to be mean, hope you dont think im rude, but if you have to ask something like that you werent ready to have sex, i'll admit when i first did it i wasnt ready either but from experience, if you dont know much about it, dont do it. not until you have proper contreception and know all you need to know about everything involving sex, and the hell of a life change having a baby is.

Your chances are 50%, you either are or your not.
-
it's 8 months later, either you are not pregnant or you are ready to be a first time mom... let us know what's up.
-
The pull out method actually releases some semen, and there is more of a chance that you can get pregnant if you do this. Just stick to condoms and birth control, or... even better... DON'T DO SEX UNTIL MARRIAGE!!!

condoms are soooooooo much cheaper than college!
