guess many people had the same problem.i was advised by a kind hearted guy from AB to write an e-mail to the admin guy.

Check your email account's junk folder. That's where mine was.

I had that problem at first too. Mine did that because I had the AB site up and was still logged in when I confirmed. Sign out on AB, close the site, open it back up, and login again. Hope that helps

You need to email admin@answerbag.com with your username to get your account confirmed by the staff. There have been issues with users not getting the confirmation emails lately so that's what you need to do...

Are you not receiving the confirmation email? I just wondered because I also had trouble getting confirmed. When I took the time to read the whole 3rd confirmation email they sent, I found the link to get confirmed. The link was under this sentence, "IMPORTANT: To comment on or rate answers on the site, confirm your account by clicking here: link"

have you tried right clicking on the mouse then press copy move the curser over the www,answerbag... them move the curser to the web browser and right click again where it says paste, it should be able to go , good luck!

One scenario that happened with me is that my AB emails get sent straight to my trash bin (per the settings on my account)--fortunately I have it set to wait a few days before emptying the trash bin. You may want to check your trash/spam box for the emails. If that doesn't work, click on the "Feedback" link at the bottom of each AB page.

On my gmail AB emails go straight to the spam folder. So you might want to check there and put AB on your safe list.

Yes, I found my AnswerBag e-mail in my spam filer. You probably just have to add AnswerBag as a trusted person to get e-mail from.

If you are logged on AB and looking at the comments and answers to your questions, I don't think you get sent notification Emails. If you haven't logged on or haven't checked your answers, I think that's when the emails are sent.

I didn't ever get mine either. So I quit worrying about it. That was 700 points ago more or less.

I'm having this same problem. I can't comment or rate, and I have yet to get a confirmation email. And I've checked my spam filters, it's not there! I don't know how to get this thing to work.

if your using 'hotmail' forget it ..try opening a yahoo mail account its free , once you do come back to AB and re do your email addy ...your confirmation email should get to you with no worries.... welcome to the AB family!:)

I am having the same problem. Just not getting the email sent. I don't use a public free mail account, nor does my spam go to a seperate folder, it just isn't coming. I do notice on the page when you have the confirmation re-sent that everything gets all jumbled up on the "Completed" page. That makes me wonder if there isn't a typo in the script. If it is causing visual anomalies, it very well could be causing other problems behind the scenes.

First: Make sure you can receive emails from answerbag.com...it might be under a blocked contact. Second: Double check to make sure you typed in your email correctly Third: If you have a different email, they try making an account with that one. Fourth: If all of those fail then send a message to answerbag customer support. I am sure they can help you out. Good Luck! :)

I think you should rather create another account to save time... you might be going in circles so save yourself and start fresh.
