That's funny, I randomly popped an ER DVD in yesterday and watched a couple episodes, in one of them one of the docs said pretty much that same thing, then pointed out that kids with sickle cell don't get malaria. Interesting.

I also read that article and now I'm spending less time outside and looking at mosquitos with a whole new respect/fear. And they have been particularly prolific this year in my region of the country and maybe it's my imagination, but I think they are much larger than they have been before, too. Neighbors and communities used to spray for mosquitos in the early summer, but that practice has been stopped because of people complaining of chemicals. Pfft!

Yep I was aware, been aware for a long time. It's natural selection, just nature and evolution at it's finest eradicating people to make room for more people. There is no need for fear mongering, we all gotta go sometime, and one way or the other, we're all gonna go.
