Yes. I even yell at my grandkids in public.

Only once and that was near a park and my 3-year old ran into the street after I asked her to stay by me and hold my hand. I was SO scared!! I think most of the adults around me could understand that my outburst was more fear than anger.

not really yelled but scolded yes. I was at the grocery store and both my 7 year old and 5 year old were in the basket and my 5 year old boy started yelling at my daughter in the rudest way. So i leaned in an popped his mouth. I can see his eyes darting around to see who was looking and many people were staring at me. I asked him if he was embarassed that people were looking at him when he got in trouble ... yes he said so then i scolded him and told him i was emabarassed to that my big 5 year old would behave in such a bad way. I did make sure the people watching this "show" could hear what i was saying ..i guess to protect myself... I thought my son deserved it yet these days if you dont punish your kids people around think "if that was my child..." and if you punish "they think he's just being a kid.. and scream abuse" what the hell there is no winning so I just do what i feel is right for my kids and their well being.
