Can anyone recommend a Christian book on child-rearing/parenting/discipline? Tell me why you love the one you recommend.

The Bible. That's were all christian values come from isn't it. I think its overall message is good but think that some of the true scripture has been lost in history, king's using it to control the masses and changing it to fit own agendas, and the translations. However i maintain a personal relationship with God which is way more important than any book or church and that is the main thing i will teach my daughter.

If you need a book to raise a child then you should not have a child. The best way to rasie a child is to give her lots of love and attention with some disapline.

Something by James Dobson. He offers a great deal of wisdom from a Christian perspective. This is his strong suit.
