  • I think having a funnel cake for breakfast is no worse than having a couple doughnuts. I just think it wouldn't be good to do it more than once or twice a month.
  • When you order the Funnel cake don't eat all of it, Eat only 1/2 of it and take the rest home to eat at another time. That is most of the problem with people being overweigh is by eating to much at onetime. They need to eat 1/2 of what they are now eating and they need to move around more even if they just walk around the block 3-5 times a week for 45minutes.
  • I think its the 'All you CAN eat...' mentality ! Its made over-eating competative!
  • It's not only NOT helping, it's HURTING. Most people are so easily swayed by advertising that they figure if it's being offered for breakfast (the most important meal of the day, right?) then it's got to be GOOD FOR YOU!
  • I'd say the same about excess meat and dairy. So, yes.
  • No food should be restricted from a menu. It's each individual person who has to learn self control, no restaurant or organization should have to do it for us. You can eat anything in moderation, that's a fact. There is no one food that will instantly make you fat by eating it, or make you drop dead from cholesterol. It's all about being able to control your erg to eat foods like funnel cake all the time, or every day. You should not be going to IHOP for breakfast every day any way, none the less eating cake for breakfast on a regular base.
  • nay evn dow im english
  • That would depend on what you're eating the other 20 meals in a week.
  • sorry im scottish what exactly is 'funnel cake'?
  • It's not HELPING, but the sole blame cannot be put on IHOP. Each person has the decision to eat the funnel cake, or to eat something else. Each individual person (or the parents in the case of children not being able to make their own decisions) is responsible for themselves (and their children)- NOT IHOP.
  • While IHOP may offer it for a breakfast item, everyone must remember moderation. If this is something you simply must have, why not share it with another person. America's obesity problem resides within the individual. Ultimately they make the choice to eat this item for breakfast. IHOP is only giving America what it wants.
  • Yay but I am from Canada and I am extremely fit yet eat whatever/how much I want. (You know what I mean ey? - lol)
  • It doesnt help but people need to be able to make thier own choice and know that if they arent healthy, they probably shouldnt pick that as a breakfast snack.
  • well does anyplace that serves breakfast help the obesity issue i mean every other place dosent have any better food for you so ya i dont think it matters and its your choice to eat it maybe i think they could shrink the portion so it wouldnt be as bad but i do know this world has to do something soon or nobody will ever be skinny :(
  • It is certainly not helping.
