I'm reading the "flowers in the attic" series. if you have read it... did you get a little excited during the potential love scenes? did you identify with cathy, despite her incestual tendencies?

I get a little excited during ANY sex scene. When I read the book, I was probably 13 - and I don't think the fact that they were brother and sister was particularly exciting - at that age, anything of a sexual nature is exciting. Although thinking of it now, it really doesn't faze me, I think because I know it's a work of fiction. If you read any of VC Andrews books, though, there is something incestuous, or nearly-incestuous in all of them - makes you wonder if she didn't have something funny going on at home...?

Yes I did and I remember episodes of Cathy with that older man- a doctor I think, that was all a bit saucy! I can understand a lot of her feelings with her troubled childhood.

V.C. Andrews is a very dead prolific writer. She has penned more books since her death than she ever wrote while she was alive.
