  • Yes, FBI agents take an oath. It is as follows: I will support and defend the Constitution of the United States against all enemies, foreign and domestic; that I will bear true faith and allegiance to the same; that I take this obligation freely, without any mental reservation or purpose of evasion; and that I will well and faithfully discharge the duties of the office on which I am about to enter. So help me God. As far as the NAME of the oath, I couldn't find a proper name for it other than simply the FBI "Oath of Office"
  • I think this is called the Oath of Office and I'm pretty sure the last sentence "so help me God", is now either optional or left out altogether. Also, I think this oath is common to all Federal employees. I took it when I started my job in another federal department, and my job is neither sensitive nor high-ranking.
